The Alkioni is a very well presented hotel high on a hill over looking the very attractive harbour and village of Finiki. The hotel was extremely well cared for and the room was immaculately clean and adequately resourced. We were lucky to have a sea view which gave us fantastic sunsets every evening from our balconies. Minas and Anna were perfectly friendly hosts who, now and again knocked on our door to provide us excellent cakes, home produced cheeses, cheese pies and savouries all made by Anna (incidentally, Anna has appeared on Greek television in a cookery programme - she really does know how to do good food!). Minas and Anna take great care about the decoration of the rooms and there are some 'nice touches' that make you feel that you are being looked after.

Very good value. Great secluded situation near a lovely gravel beach. You need a car, as the access is 1.5h from airport and down the bottom of a long windy dead end road from the mountains. Excellent local shop and tavernas. Staff very friendly and helpful to my disability in giving me a ground floor studio; there is no lift. Buffet breakfast is fine. We thought it was fantastic for rest, peace, and restoration.
