Very comfortable and delicious breakfasts. We stayed 3 nights while visiting relatives and would stay here again. It is close to many wineries, Harpers Ferry, and an operational grain mill. The decorations in the Stone Manor are antique and well arranged. There is a library with numerous novels and comfortable seating. We stayed in the Delft Room which was lovely and spotless.

We stayed here after attending a wedding on the grounds. The Post Office is the sweetest little cabin. We had a wonderful fire in the fire place, the bed was to die for, and in general, it was one of the most peaceful and cozy little places we have stayed. Stevenson Ridge didn't miss any of the little details, right down to delivering breakfast in a basket the next morning. We'll definitely come back!

Loved this hotel! In the Mosaic District in Fairfax, full of neat shops and restaurants. About a 1 mile walk (all sidewalks) to the Dunn-Loring Metro station. Very clean, great breakfast, free wifi, excellent staff.. we were so impressed, especially for the price!

We just returned from spending a week there. It has a compact layout in Springfield, with its own (free) parking garage. The room was large, with a sitting area and an equipped kitchen. In addition, they provided a good, hot breakfast with ample choices every morning, and even a single entree dinner, which looked pretty good, even though we ate elsewhere every night, as we have lots of relatives in the area and were with them every evening. Though billed as somewhat an extended stay operation, the maids came through the room daily to empty the trash and provide fresh towels. All of the staff, from management to the desk to the cooks to the maids, seemed to have been to charm school and were very outgoing, helpful, and friendly with us. We visit Northern Virginia once or twice a year, and have stayed at several other places. Each of the other places cost more or delivered much less. We will return to Homewood Suites time and again, as long as they maintain their facility, service, and prices at current levels.

The front desk staff was very welcoming and helped us with directions to get to restaurants without having to go out on the busy highway. When we told them we came to see our granddaughter perform in her first Nutcracker Ballet, they brought to our room a beautiful bouquet of flowers for her and wrote such a nice congratulatory note. I was touched by their thoughtfulness and she loved the flowers. In all the years we have stayed in hotels, it was the first time there was a lifeguard in the indoor pool area. Impressed with that. The studio room was very nice and we got a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed. The breakfast area in the morning was well stocked with a diversity of items to choose from and friendly staff greeting you with a "Good morning" and ready to help you with whatever you needed. We would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.
