On first arriving at this hotel we were most impressed. It is probably the loveliest building in the old part of town
Our room was large with an antique safe which is built into the old wall. The shower room had bathrobes and slippers as well as shampoo, tissues sewing kit and nail file which I was pleased about as my nails seem to grow when we go away! The hotel had a pleasant chritmas spice smell and is a venue for conventions by the looks of the suits walking around with ID - mainly Americans given the loud voices in the background.
The breakfast included eggs ,fruit, cereals, yoghurts, juice and very good coffee. The staff were all extremely helpful especially as the electronic key failed to work on many occassions. We loved our room with the small balcony overlooking the street, though I notice there are a lot of rooms with inward looking windows which must make the rooms quite dark.
The hotel provides a pick up from the airport for US$28 but the return is 28,000 pesos so quite a difference.
All in all a very nice place but wish we had known about some of the restaurants up the hill which we didnt discover till we left.
