"Quiet, tranquil, peaceful."
The owner, Marie is the best hostes I think I have ever met. I feel in love with this place, right out side the city and yet so peaceful. Thanks for wonderful memories.

"Neruda style.."
The Casa Muriel is divine. Lots of style around. I arrived feeling a little travel jaded but this revitalised me. It is in Nunoa, a great area and cheap bus system to get elsewhere. Pablo Neruda,s house worth going to see.

"Get a bit of a taste of local life"
I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. I was there for five nights and appreciated the location. It is easy to access great neighborhoods like Providencia and Bellavista, where there are lots of great things to see and do. I walked to these locations fairly easily during the day, but I like walking as a way to take in the sights of the city. Within about a 5km radius (~1 hour on foot), there is a lot to see and do. The area seemed reasonably safe but I cannot say for sure because I tended to take a cab home at night. The location of the hotel meant that a cab ride was quite cheap. The staff are very friendly and trustworthy (I accidentally left money in the open in my room and it was undisturbed when I came home). I think that the owner is the only person that speaks English. The language barrier was not really a problem because I carried a phrasebook and it is easy to make do when one has to. The place is a little rustic and I like that. If you are looking for a highly sanitized American-style hotel, this is NOT the hotel for you. If you are like me and want to get a taste of local life and are not worried about having things like flat screen TV's or puffy towels, this would be a great hotel. I think that it is a nice and safe place where you can meet interesting people.

"Great for those who like autonomy."
Actually they rent you an apartment or flat, this is not really a hotel. But the apartment is very confortable and it has the essential tools for a good stay, the kitchen is great, and the furniture is confy, I recommend this "apart-hotel" for those who like autonomy. Thie location is fantastic near the most interesting neighbourhoods in Santiago, Bellavista and Lastarria. It has direct acces to the Universidad de Chile subway station. The metro train in Santiago is a great and cheap way of trasportation.

"Not what expected"
I selected the hotel primarily thinking in localization, I presumed that it was going to have a better external appereance. Overall the hotel is clean, but the external appereance is lacking. Conserning the rooms I do have to say they are clean and comfortable enough, just don't expect anything to fancy. There was one incident though, I left the tip for the room one day, but when I came back the room wasn't done but the tip wasn't there.Overall I feel Windsor Suites Hotel is a budget hotel that's should be aimed primarily at college and budget travelers. In this regard those who are expecting a little bit more out of a hotel, in relation to services and amenities would be well adviced to look somewhere else or at least considered other options.

"Good location with lots to do nearby"
I stayed here for a weekend as a solo traveller in August 2014. I thought the location was very good. There are shops, restuarants and a metro station nearby. There is lots within walking distance of the apartment, including a main shopping area, restaurants/nightlife, the funicular railway in Parque Metropolitano and bicycle hire/tours.The apartment was clean and in good order. It was pretty much perfect for my needs. The Soho Santiago staff are based in an office in the next street and were very pleasant and helpful. The door staff in the apartment block also seemed very pleasant. My apartment was on floor 2 (one floor up from street level) and looked out over the street. Consequently traffic could be a little noisy and I found earplugs at night to be a good idea. I imagine this would be less of an issue on higher floors. I did a day ski trip on one of the days I was there and was picked up at the apartment block by the tour company bus without any problems. All in all I was very happy with my stay at Soho Santiago and would stay there again.

"Great location, great price."
This is actually not an hotel. It is an apartment. Great location. Very central and close to great restaurants. I liked it a lot because it has everything you need to be comfortable. The apartment is almost new. The downside there is no hotel personnel or any hotel like services.
