"Excellent location"
Stayed for 7 nights for a holiday. Found it to be a great little hotel with lovely service, wifi, comfortable rooms and a really good location. Walking distance from two stations and two metro lines, the Asakusa shrine and even Ueno park. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area too. Would highly recommend.

"Very nice experience"
The room was clean and with all the elements you need if you are traveling light (shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, razor, etc.). Also, it was very quiet. The staff speaks english, Great location, nearby subway lines and the beautiful area of Asakusa and Sky Tree.

"I will stay again."
This is a more than adequate budget/business hotel. Lawson store is just over the road for supplies. Small fridge in room. Its about a 10 minute (pleasant) stroll from Asakusa main JR station in a nice environment and easy to find as there is a large blue sign on the side of the building (its a boon to find my hotel so quickly in Tokyo-and expedias dodgy maps never help). Some people have said their room was smelling of smoke which may be true but Im a smoker so... The hotel is in a nice residential area, the staff speak adequate english and the cleaners sort the room every day. Some guy below is complaining that the hotel only had a clock with instructions in Japanese. I found it simple to work and there are such things as travel clocks for a few Yen in Tokyo if you want to nitpick. Hotel is located near the river so you can have a nice walk if you wish, I also had a great view of the skytree. many people complain about the size of the rooms in Tokyo but thats how it is- you get a small room and small bathtub like most Japanese use. I will stay here again next year and have no complaints.

We loved our stay. Very central to stuff in Asakusa, with grocery stores and restaurants all walking distance. The Metro was down the street as well. And the staff was awesome and very helpful.

"Gorgeous traditional Japanese Inn"
I travelled with my mother and we were both looking for an authentic experience in Japan on a budget. I stumbled across Chiyoda Inn and it seemed to tick all the boxes. Our experience exceeded our expectations. The inn was small, homely, welcoming and incredibly clean. Though the bathroom facilities are shared they were cleaned early every morning and we barely stumbled across other guests. Our room was additionally fitted with a small fridge, kettle, hair dryer and a sink which was an unexpected bonus. The staff were friendly, English speaking and obliging and very helpful pointing out good local places to eat. Fresh towels and sheets whenever you would like. There is a small lounge area with television and computers and kitchenette and traditional dining table. Free access to wi-fi was included. Close to minami-senju station on the Joban JR line, or the HIbiya Tokyo Metro line as well as additional bus services to Tokyo station that run through Asakusa, it's very easy to navigate around. Absolutely charming and have come home with many treasured memories and hope to go back soon!

"Cool little hotel with nice staff"
traveled to japan on October 15 and stayed till the 31st. it's a nice little hotel and great if you don't want to spend a lot of money. i went with my cousin so our room was one with a bunk bed. the room was a bit small but it didn't bother me at all, i mean it's just to sleep right? staff can speak English pretty good. they have 2 shower rooms and a bathroom and they provide towels and shampoo if you need them. they have a small kitchen area where you can cook stuff up on hotplates or a microwave. this area also has a coin washer (200/30min) and dryer (100/30min) to do laundry and you can buy detergent at the front desk for 50 yen a pack. there is a common space with a tv, small table, and 2 computers where you can hang around and talk to other guests, use the internet, or watch tv. overall the hotel was very clean and the staff was really nice.

Pocket Guide: Tokyo Asakusa 2 stars Hotels

Today visited for its Sensoji Temple, Five Storied Pagoda, and the Nakamise traditional shopping arcade, this festive neighborhood once was the city’s hot spot for drinking and dancing. Though it never experienced the development that Ginza and others have, it holds its own with an artistic community and some of the city’s top attractions.
