"Great location, close to tokyo."
Location was brilliant with access to Odaiba bay via boat (has the only artificially made beach in Tokyo) and only beach within reasonable traveling time from Tokyo. One of the Cheapest areas within a close proximity to Tokyo. Just up the road was the oldest temple in Japan. Asakusa temple also had one of the larger markets with traditional goods as well as tourist souvenirs. The Asakusa station is easy to use and can get into central Tokyo within 5 mins or if you want a night out can get to Ropponghi, Shinjuku and Shibuya via the station just down the road from the hotel.

"even the staff not speaking English but it was ok"
Me & my friend stay for 2 days. the room was clean but of course tiny. The hotel not noisy so we can sleep good after tired with tour. This place better then stay at dorm, because more privacy, there price is worth it.

"Very nice place to stay in Asakusa"
This is a great place for people on a budget. It has a little bit of a hostel vibe but you are not in a dormitory you have your own room with a loft bed-room size is about 2 tatami mats in the main area and you have plenty room underneath the bed to relax and do your thing as well as having a desk and storage space and a fridge. There were double rooms as well but i didnt get to see one of them. Shared bathroom and toilet but you can also use the private japanese bathroom for an hour if you book in advance on the day (I think it was 300 yen-a couple of quid). There is lots of information in reception and email and communal area with TVs downstairs/vending machines etc and an area to smoke. The staff here were very helpful and friendly-I stayed for the whole of my 16 days in Tokyo and had no problems here. The area around the hotel is pretty quiet but there are lots of things around and lots of nice walks, especially down by the river. I took around 15 minutes to walk to Minoya station with a very heavy case when I left and its maybe a little bit longer to walk down to the station at Asakusa, but its a very pleasant walk and the hotel is right on the main road and not difficult to find at all. I will certainly try to stay here again the next time Im in town.

"Fantastic!"
it was great! the staff was friendly, the room was clean but just a downfall would be the walls of the rooms are too thin. So we have to be extra careful when we come back at night. Other than that a great recommended place to be in!

"Comfortable rooms"
After a long day out in the Japan summer heat, it is a real pleasure to sleep in air conditioned comfort. I also didn't know that my dorm room had its own shower and toilet so that was a wonderful surprise. Location was great for some of Tokyo's famous sights like Skytree and that big gate I can't remember the name of. Heaps of eateries. Pretty easy to find (but I took a taxi and I speak Japanese). No complaints.

Pocket Guide: Tokyo Asakusa 2 stars Hotels

Today visited for its Sensoji Temple, Five Storied Pagoda, and the Nakamise traditional shopping arcade, this festive neighborhood once was the city’s hot spot for drinking and dancing. Though it never experienced the development that Ginza and others have, it holds its own with an artistic community and some of the city’s top attractions.
