Great location and management. The owner is very concerned about maintaining quality and does whatever is needed to satisfy guests. We stayed at one of the "cave" rooms in March and the room was naturally cold. At our request, he provided us with an extra heater.
The owner seemed to be honest and ethical. I did NOT get the impression that his recommendations for tours were based on commission he might be getting from tour companies.
The breakfast is good. The view from the roof-top terrace is great. Cappadocia is a great place to visit; it is a "must see" if you are visiting Turkey. Renting a car is highly recommended in Cappadocia.
Overall, I would stay at this hotel if I went back to Cappadocia. Their newly renovated cave room is beautiful and excellent value.

The Staff have been at their jobs here for a very long time, over five years each, and they know their stuff. You can leave it to them to help arrange tours and balloon rides - highly recommended. Oktay and Suleiman have excellent command of English and are very courteous and caring.
I stayed in the new Penthouse room, no 401. Some hooks and a toilet paper holder still need to be installed, but It has a view to swoon over off your private balcony. Don't fret if its not available, choose 301 just below, only difference you must open your door to see the view. Caution! both rooms require endurance as 301 has over fifty steps and 401 has sixtysix steps one way to reach the rooms. I enjoy this sort of forced exercise!
The pool in May is still unheated and recliners are not put up until June, but we found the water refreshing. There are plenty of tables to enjoy food and drinks and the View Again The View!
The Shoestring Staff will NOT tie you up in Knots. The sweet woman who runs the cantina will cater to you in her natural mothering way. There is a Hotel Pet, Princess the Dog. The Dorm Rooms below offer a fun chance to meet our wonderful younger generation and they will help you with any computer issues! The WiFi works great.

Nice breakfast spread, with excellent view of Goreme from upstairs. Quiet and close location to centre of Goreme. Manager Yusuf organised tours for me at the last minute. No cave rooms, but simply appointed rooms - with large bathroom/

What a magical place. Canyon view was a tiny walk up a hill, but enough to have a lovely view. A few other pricier hotels next door, but I was very satisfied for price/location/service. Not right on the street so it was wonderful that they met me as I pulled up with my transportation. There was a mistake in my room, so I had a family suite for one! No complaints on that! Breakfast was as most places with the usual cucumber, tomatoes, jams and fresh fruits, but they will also make you a delicious omelette! They were helpful in any questions, their wifi worked well. Both owners/brothers were charming and kind. It was hesitant on using them for my balloon ride with Maccan as Seyit was the pilot and thought they were just pushing that company, but it was the BEST choice! Our balloon ride was perfect. He was funny, professional and informative about anything you asked. We had one of the smallest baskets, went up and down stayed out longer than others and everyone of us got our money's worth. High recommendations for Canyon View. The only disappointment was my room was never cleaned, but really in the 3 days I was there, I did not make much of a mess. I just like the garbage emptied, but I found almost all my hotels in Turkey, they rarely cleaned everyday. But I would stay here again, if just for the service, location and staff.
