"Great hotel for a very reasonable price"
Small rooms but very clean. Surprisingly quiet for the centre of town. Staff were absolutely lovely - really helpful.

"Great location!"
Staff aren't the friendliest, but I enjoyed the experience in one of the tiny cabin rooms. The hotel is old and although they've done a lot of restoration, don't expect a classy five star feel. The rooms were cozy and had ample storage. No central air, but crank up your room's window unit and your room will cool in no time. Don't forget your toiletries as their complimentary selection is definitely bargain value. Overall, a fun experience for the price in my favorite part of the city. I'll stay again and definitely recommend it for travelers on a budget.

The hotel was modern (1997), and I paid for a deluxe room which provided more space. The room had a desk, which I always use. I also greatly appreciated the refrigerator unit. My room offered a good view of the street. It was not advertised as an international hotel, but it was. I enjoyed sharing breakfast with people from all over the world. The room telephone did not have an answering machine, which almost all hotels do. This was a drawback. As stated below, the entire staff was excellent, and the location was close to the No.1, C and E subway trains. It was only four (4) blocks from the Flatiron Building, and architectural wonder, which I visited three times. The entire staff was super in all ways, and there were lots of deli's and eateries nearby.

"Good value for the price"
The room was clean and in condition described on the website. Only thing, there was some old salami staff in the fridge with bbd 2 months ago..

This is a great place to stay if you don't plan on staying in the hotel very much during your day. I stayed in a room with just a queen bed, and the bed spanned from wall to wall. The bed was comfy and the temperature was nice, sleeping was no problem. Includes a fridge and microwave in each room along with a selection of dishes and utensils. They had breakfast in the morning of pastries which was appreciated. However the wifi isn't free and quite expensive compared to most places I've stayed.

West Chelsea with its hundreds of galleries and studios is the center of New York’s visual arts community and the neighborhood is also home to a thriving gay community. For its string of nightclubs, West 27th Street is known as Club Row.
