"Nice hotel"
Very good hotel, nice and clean, good price. I spent a night at the Jane Hotel during a business trip. The hotel is clean, smells great and has good staff. It is near a couple of restaurants and major roads. I will stay again sometime in the future.

"Great place to stay in NYC!"
This hotel is a nice place to stay for a great price in New York City. It is located right next to the red line subway which can get you downtown or uptown pretty quicklY. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. I would definitely Recommend.

"Lovely accommodations at the right price!"
We loved our stay at Comfort Inn Chelsea. There was a little confusion checking in, but after that little blip, the rest of our stay was amazingly seamless. The hotel includes a good breakfast, which is hard to find for a good price in the city! Sausage, eggs, cereal, bagels, pastries, yogurt, and a waffle maker! Yum. Our hotel room was about the size of our master bedroom, so it was perfect (some may have considered it small). It was perfectly clean. The location was the best part...there was a flea market one day right across the street. You are just steps from Madison Square Park (the park, not the event venue!), the Flatiron Building, and several subway stops. It's the cutest and quaintest little neighborhood...after staying several times in the Times Square/Broadway area, this was a breath of fresh air. I felt more like a local and less like a tourist. The one downside was the elevator...it is super old and there was only one out of two working! But, there was a note that said the second one should be working again soon, so that's good! So, thank you, we'll definitely be staying here again :)

"Cleanest hotel I ever stayed at"
Was very skeptical. It is New York after all. This place was the cleanest one I have ever seen. Even though the showers were shared, I still felt comfortable enough to use them. The late night check-in guy was also incredibly helpful and friendly. Great stay overall.

"Great for a taste of NY"
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby is simple to navigate and the front door secure. More than anything, this is a consistently nice and affordable New York hotel. We were easily able to walk to Manhattan in 15-20 minutes, if walking isn't your style, there is a citibike stand one block away. The rooms were clean and the facilities worked perfectly. We were warned about street noise by locals however we slept fairly well on all nights. The only noise that woke us was the occasional siren or early morning construction, nothing too serious. The restaurant downstairs makes a pretty decent cup of coffee. We stayed on the top floor recently, unfortunately they don't have an elevator but we managed well enough on our own. The Chelsea Inn is a near perfect place for budget travelers wanting to get a feel for New York life.

"Convenient Location, Great Price"
I was looking for nothing more than a bed and shower close to the bus station. The reviews that noted how quiet it was convinced me to book The Leo House. I am glad that I did. It was only about a ten-minute walk from the bus stop and was very reasonably priced. A nice breakfast stop and the subway entrance were only two blocks away.

"Nice, near Chealsea marcket and greenline"
There is something I think you really need to take care. The barhroons were always dirty. It did not seem to have been cleaned for three days. Sorry you really need to improve this. For the other things, thanks a lot. You were very nice

Pocket Guide: New York Chelsea 2 stars Hotels

West Chelsea with its hundreds of galleries and studios is the center of New York’s visual arts community and the neighborhood is also home to a thriving gay community. For its string of nightclubs, West 27th Street is known as Club Row. Historic sites have found new purpose like Chelsea Piers, which was converted to a sports complex, and High Line, an elevated rail line transformed into a park.
