Nice hotel, very clean and spacious room. Hotel staff is friendly and nice, but some are very green. If you book hotel via this site (which I did), you may experience problems checking in. Hotel staff only knows how to check in tour groups.
Hotel has 30 floors, but equipped with only 3 elevators. When many groups are in or checking out at the same time, it takes you more than 30 minutes to get into an elevator. We experienced this one day out of our 4 days stay.
Breakfast if really good, lots of selections. You may experience communication problems with breakfast staff, even though you are a Chinese.

"Grand hotel near Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial zone"
This hotel is built in the grand luxury style with very large well fitted out guest rooms. Very comfortable and welcoming hotel near the Chengdu Hi-Tech industrial zone.
The only fault is that the guest rooms are not fitted with universal power outlets that take all plugs - I was travelling with a UK laptop and could not charge the laptop, and enquiries at the front desk indicated that the hotel did not have adaptors for loan - this maybe have been a "lost in translation" issue. I strongly recommend the hotel install universal power outlets that are common throughout all upmarket hotels in Asia.
