This hostel is in a brilliant location, approx 5 minutes walk from King's Cross Tube station. The facilities are very clean and modern, and excellent value for the price paid (prices start from as little as £13 per night). I stayed in the Bird's Nest room for women only, for only £16. Bed and room were very clean, and comfortable. Women's only shower room was spotless and modern, and toilets were clean and well stocked with loo roll (I've been to many hostel's that aren't!) Service was brilliant, from friendly, helpful staff who seem to show a genuine interest in you and your visit. They provide an all-you-can-eat and drink breakfast to fill you up before you go out exploring the city, with excellent communal areas and a basement bar and kitchen.

The hotel is close to kings cross station but is on a loud and busy street that has cars all day and night. The rooms are right near the street and the windows do not lock and you can hear the cars and traffic through them very loudly. Hard to sleep. Random construction also. Hotel staff is bizarre and not very helpful. Maids do a nice job of cleaning. Internet is poor. Overall too expensive for what you really get staying in this hotel.
