"Descent Hotel, Overall you get what you pay for."
The Hotel itself was in good shape. The neighborhood surrounding it was a little sketchy. There was a liquor store literally 50 feet from the hotel front door and a discount tobacco store next to that. The front desk staff was not real welcoming and avoided eye contact with everyone when possible. The people who kept up the breakfast bar an did the housekeeping were very pleasant and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was not bad, it did the job. The pool was nice. The room was descent, but don't expect any scenic views. Overall, if you need an okay place to stay this hotel would get the job done.

We were in need of a hotel for 2 nights on a very busy weekend and this was the only hotel I could find with vacancies. Having read other reviews on here I was apprehensive. I found the bad reviews to be completely unfounded. The hotel is in like new condition overall and scrupulously clean. The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating if they tried. It is true that the amenities are sparse, but when you understand that this hotel is geared toward long term guests, this is understandable. The front desk was able to provide us with everything we asked for on request (including name brand coffee). Overall, this hotel is a good value for the money.
