"trip to espanola to visit the bandilier monument p"
I enjoyed our stay, the only problem was not enough breakfast food. there were a lot of working people from out of town with a tree cutting service. when they were finished with breakfast there were nothing much for others who didn't get up as early. but other wise the hotel was very nice. we wanted an upstairs room and got it. very good. I would recommend this hotel.

Pocket Guide: Santa Fe Espanola 2 stars Hotels

Located along the Rio Grande, Espanola is a popular destination for rafters. The town is located within the Santa Clara Indian Reservation. In 1598, Spaniards settled north of modern-day Espanola and created the first Spanish-controlled capital in the territory. Its reign as a capital was short lived, as Santa Fe ultimately eclipsed Espanola. Nearby, Jemez Springs has mineral hot water baths.
