The room was very well appointed spacious with kitchenette and huge soaking tub.
The grounds were lovely old style Bahamian look inside and out.
Food and cocktails steps from the sand. Wide choice of water equipment all inclusive; snorkeling SUPaddle boards, kayaks, catamarans... The staff was delightful. We saw a variety of fish in the water and on the end of a hook ;) we will look forward to returning in the future.

We were here for only one night, but I had stayed here several years ago as well. The hotel is on a lovely beach; there is a nice pool as well, though the pool is fairly shallow so not good for a real swim. But the ocean is certainly good for a swim!! There is a frequent shuttle to take you to Port Lucaya, and also a shuttle to the supermarket. Staff is pleasant and helpful, and try to accommodate your needs. The room we had was a one bedroom suite, with a sofa bed in the living room. Very roomy for four people. The grounds are also pleasant. We didn't try the larger restaurant, but had lunch at the poolside grill. The pizza was good, but unfortunately since we are vegetarians, we didn't have too much to select from.

The staff was great and very helpful! Room could use some work but it was still very good especially for the price. Taino beach was one of the nicer beaches on the island. I would definitely stay here again!
