"Great rate, clean room - gateway to adventure!"
We saved a lot of money by switching our reservation from another higher-rated area hotel to this one. Check in went quickly...only one person in front of us. Room was ready and supplied with plenty of towels, pillows, a TV & remote, shampoo, soap, etc. Breakfast was ready when we were, and better than I make for myself at home a lot of times. I had OJ (it tasted good and seemed like it was from concentrate), a ripe/fresh banana, yogurt, Frosted Flakes, milk, toast, butter, jelly, and a cinnamon roll in a package. They also had oatmeal, Raisin Bran, coffee, and some other items to choose from.
If you are looking for a good value for a night's sleep, you can find that here.
Note: Here are some things that didn't bother us that may bother people who expect a highway motel to be their destination resort paradise:
- The electronic door lock wouldn't open very easily (resolved with patience, persistence, and/or a trip to the front desk)
- The door had a gap between it and the jamb. It you crouched down quite low, you could see through the gap all the way across the hallway.
- The spa (whirlpool or hot tub) was closed. We didn't end up using the pool, so I'm not sure how that was, but it was open and warm when we went to check it out.
- As a general rule, I wear slippers when I am in a hotel room. For those who like to check the color of your children's feet or white socks after letting them run around a motel room that way, I have no stories to help you, sorry.
