Would not consider staying anywhere else now. I can understand why it is so difficult to get a late booking as people are returning several times a year. The food is excellent and the entertainment is top class, never laughed so much as I did at Bobby Lee and the other comedienne who did a double act till 1am. To sum it up ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT

It is with some pride that I write this review of The Cliffs Hotel in Blackpool. My stay was for 5 nights and I can say very enjoyable. The staff were very efficent and welcoming when we arived. We had booked a Sea view room and we got exactly what we booked, Second floor room facing the sea. The room was very clean and fairly comfortable and it was also quiet. The breakfast had lots of choice, though the large dining room was busy food was replaced very quickly when it was running out. The staff in the dinning room were always polite and were able to point one in the right direction when looking for any of the food provided which was all of a very good quality. The pool area was clean and the pool was really very clean. Parking can be abit of a problem at this busy time of year but not impossible as the local streets do have space and there is a car park a block or so away.
The room it self was just a little tired and and the bed covers could do with an upgrade. The bed linen was very clean and crisp. Back to the staff at reception, they were so very helpfull in all or requirements, to be fair all the staff at this hotel were excellent, they must have a good working envoirment and a good Manager.

Really enjoyed our stay at the St Ives. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was great. We had wonderful views of the sea and pier.
We enjoyed our breakfast and stayed at the hotel for the evening meal which was good value.
Lytham St Annes is great for a quiet relaxing holiday and nothing like it's neighbour - Blackpool.

Pleasant, helpful staff on arrival, even got a member of staff to help us with our luggage from the car.
Room was spacious and clean with lovely sea view. Meals were brilliant and lounge very nicely set out. Comedian on first night was first class. It was a very enjoyable three nights and would have liked to stay longer.

Arrived here on Saturday 11th October... Went to check in and was rudely told to go next door to their 'sister' hotel (that's a lie!!) no explanation no apology just told to go. We ended up at the Sutcliffe hotel next door.. Where we were given a twin room not a double which I had booked! Was quickly sorted out by the manager who couldn't apologise enough. I'm glad I didn't stay in the new Oxford the signage was falling off the front it smelled in reception an the staff rude! If your staying in Blackpool I recommend the Wilson hotel so much nicer!
