Marnixstraat 386, Amsterdam 1017 PL - Map
"Great Location"
The Hotel is in a great location, easy to find and explore from. The Staff were extremely friendly and could not do enough to help, there is plenty of information in Reception on things to do and the Staff will advise you on Tram numbers, costs etc. They kindly kept our cases after check out on the last day until we needed to collect them to come home. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The Hotel would suit anyone. However, there is no lift in the building and the stairs are extremely steep in typical Dutch style so worth remembering for anyone with mobility problems. There are ground floor rooms (after accessing the hotel via 5/6 steps from the street).

Pocket Guide: Amsterdam Museum Quarter 2 stars Pet-friendly Hotels

Home to Amsterdam’s big three museums, the Museum Quarter includes the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk. The former is the huge national art collection. The Stedelijk is largely cutting-edge post-1945 art. The Van Gogh is home to 200 of the artist’s paintings. Nearby Leidseplein is the centre of Amsterdam’s more raucous nightlife, with famous clubs such as Paradiso and Melkweg. By day, visit the Art Deco Café Americain.
