Spent 3 nights, travelled by bus from Athens. Bus travel is easy once you get to Greece. Hard to obtain current info online. Took cabs between regional bus (KTEL) terminals A & B in Athens. Cab drivers are very helpful. Prices seem reasonable. Hotel was 4-5 blocks from bus station. Nafplio is busy town full of restaurants, shops and tourists. Great atmosphere, squares full of activity, kids playing, fun to walk around. Shops close mid-day but then open late into evening. Greeks are so friendly and gracious. They want you to love Greece and it is easy to do! Ate some inexpensive but good food at Mepakfnis (tables on street, 3 blocks from hotel) and drank big mugs of Alpa beer. Menus tell you which food is fresh or frozen. Make sure you stop at any of the waterfront cafes to have frappe or drink and watch sunset-lovely!

Great location facing the bay and if you drive, their location signs were helpful after you arrive at Drepano. Hotel people told us to go to the next town, Tolo, for Internet Caffe and many restaurants. We went to Nafplion, Maycenae, Corinth and several other locations using this hotel as a base. We enjoyed balcony/patio attached to every room. They have great breakfast (included), but dinner was too expensive and mediocre (buffet style)
