"Pre-Cruise Stay"
We chose Hotel Navona for a 2-day pre-cruise stay in September 2014. The hotel is a stone's throw from Piazza Navona and not too far walking distance from other sites. Our room had 3 single beds and it had plenty of room for us and all our luggage. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Our cab driver on the day we left for the cruise port could not reach the hotel due to road construction and closures. With the help of the driver and a member of the hotel staff we were able to take our luggage to where the cab was parked. We had breakfast once (it is not included in the price unless you get a deal - 10 Euros each) which consisted of cereal, breads, yogurt, coffee, tea. There is no elevator at the hotel but the hotel staff will help you with your luggage. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Navona again.

"Location, location, location."
Small budget hotel right in amongst the attractions which you can walk to. Note: Rome's metro system does not go into the city centre so a hotel near a metro station is not an advantage for sight seeing whereas a central location is ! Basic but clean facilities, we were on the third floor and even got a small balcony. No lift an issue if you have a lot of luggage but staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast basic but adequate. Good value for money.

"Fantastic hotel in the heart of Rome"
Absolutely great hotel. Was right beside piazza navona and campo di fiori which were both excellent spots to visit. Near a few grocery stores where we could buy lunch and a few drinks. Staff were great and friendly though we had no reason to see them as the place was perfect. Lovely room which was cleaned every day. Would definitely return and was a great price too.

"Great location."
The location was great, but the hotel is hard to find. We had to change rooms for the second night. The elevator was too small for people and luggage. The saving thing about the hotel is the location. I would use it again for that reason.

Pocket Guide: Rome Piazza Navona - Pantheon 2 stars Hotels

In the heart of the historic centre, Piazza Navona is Rome’s most famous square. Like a giant stage set, this is where the theatre of daily Roman life is re-enacted among the café tables that spill out onto the fountain-splashed piazza. Bernini’s baroque extravaganza, the Fontana dei Quattro Fiume, is the most celebrated of the three fountains. Nearby is the Pantheon – one of Rome’s great symbols and a marvel of ancient architecture.
