We booked one night at the Howard Johnson's San Bruno as an overnighter before our flight out. They staff was attentive and helpful. We were able to take our rental car back early and get the shuttle back to the hotel and then take the shuttle again in the morning to the airport. The room was huge and comfortable, one of the best over our vacation. A nice breakfast was served in the morning and we were happy to have a good sleep before our trip home. Thank you. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the San Francisco area.

Good location, friendly managers, neat and clean. I was disappointed that although the add said parking was free, it was first come, first serve for parking. We did get a spot, but had to pay $20/night, which was still better than $40/night, which is what other places were charging.

We stayed here for two nights. Walking into the lobby, I was pleasantly surprised with this place after seeing mediocre ratings here. The hotel is clean and smells good. You can tell it's well taken care of. All the fixtures are pretty updated. It almost felt like a holiday inn. The rooms were good too and the staff was pretty well spoken as well. It's about 5 mins from the airport and about 15 mins from downtown. Usually continental breakfast means cold boring options but they had a decent spread here. You can make your own hot waffles.. Boiled eggs..fruits .. Cereal bars .. Etc. definitely happy with our stay.

"Nice hotel, that close to shops and restaurants."
Went on a family trip, keep in mind we are a family of 6. We're were able to get a suite to fit all of us comfortably. The complimentary breakfast was alright, just toast, coffee and cereal. The hotel was centered just perfect to walk to fisherman's warf, close to the golden gate bridge. I would definitely want to stay here again.
