This really is not a hotel but more of a apartment complex with a front door manager. We had a studio apartment with a very nice kitchen. The room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast is a little different. There is some cold food(Hard Boiled Eggs, Cereal, Yogurt, Bagels, Cream Cheese) and there is also coffee and juices. There are only 2 seats in the breakfast area so you do need to take the food back to your room. It appears that many people actually stay at this "hotel" for extended lengths of time. We would definitely stay there again because the room and kitchen were very nice.

We stayed here for about 8 days. The hotel staff was friendly but not in your business.
You get free breakfast which can include:
Eggs, Sausage, Oatmeal, Cereal, Waffles, Yogurt, Toast, Bagels, Muffins, Pastries and coffee, tea, and orange juice.
Served from 6:30 am to 9:30 am.
The nice thing is they lock the doors sometime after 10:00 pm and you can slide your room key near the front door to be let in. They make you feel extremely safe and welcome. :)
The rooms themselves are spacious and the beds are comfortable. You get a microwave, a coffee maker and a refrigerator!
For extra stuff they have a pool, hot tub and work out room.

I recently made a personal trip to the bay area and didn't want to spend too much. I saw the review on this Quality Inn, and so I made a reservation. I have to admit, I was a little worried that it wasn't going to be that good - I'm a little picky. But I was very pleasantly surprised. I got in at 11 pm, and the manager was very pleasant. I asked him if there was a 7-Eleven close by so I could buy some water. He gave me complimentary 2 bottles of water - nice. He also pointed out that we were having a blood moon, so we stepped outside to look at it (cool!). The place was right next to highway 237, so I was worried about the noise, but inside the room the noise was not a problem - I didn't really notice it. Also, the bed was very comfortable! The room was a little dated, but bigger than average, very clean, microwave, fridge. Free Internet, free parking, free breakfast. Overall great! The owner obviously tries to make the experience a good one. This will be my place to stay next visit.

Room rates were exceptionally affordable for Palo Alto.
The host (owner) was very personable, caring and helpful.
The free breakfast was one of the healthiest and well-balanced as I have experienced in a motel chain.
