The hotel is underground so it was hard to spot at first. It is very small with small rooms, which is to be expected in a bigger city.
Clean and tidy. Location was within walking distance of train, bars, shopping and restaurants. Also a short train ride from the central station. Breakfast was adequate, plenty of choices.
Overall a great experience, I would stay here again on my next trip!

We really enjoyed our stay, although the setting is definitely more hostel than hotel. Our room had three single beds (two were bunk beds), and was very simple, but nice. Service from the front desk was excellent - we arrived late, but the person on duty cookes us up a great meal (including food for our vegetarian daughter), and accommodated us well. The bathroom in the hall was shared, but never crowded. Wi fi worked in the lobby, but not in our room.

To me, this place was a welcome surprise and relief from a usual hotel experience. With its history as a previous residence for nurses, this place still exudes a strongly church-inspired ambience. Rooms are spotless, but nostalgic, and bathrooms, which are often shared, are also spotless.
The general atmosphere is extremely calm and composed, as you would expect more from a seminar centre or monastery. Breakfast is a very good bufffet breakfast (beware, no cooked bacon & egg/ sausage here), served in cozy surroundings.
The views of Stockholm you can have from the hotel grounds are famous, and attract busloads of tourists. There is also a very nice restaurant with seemingly erratic opening hours across the courtyard the hotel is set in, so if someone is in no mood to venture all the way back into town for dinner, that is a nice option.
I might stay there again in future.

We stayed there three nights and enjoyed it a lot. Of course the room was quite small but that's a little bit what we were looking for; we wanted to try something different and did not regret it. The price was reasonable. We has a room for two on the upper deck, above the restaurant, so it was very quiet en we could feel the boat rock gently. We had our own sink in the room along with a (very) small desk with a chair and a small wardrobe. The toilets and showers were fairly close to the room and both worked just fine (I recommend bringing your own shower gel). There was also a big common living room where you could watch the TV and have chats with other travellers. The view over Gamla Stan is also quite amazing and the vision could span over a good part of Östermalm too.
I usually went off the subway at the Gamla Stan station and walk on the bridge to Söder Mälarstrand, but you can probably also get off at Slussen, as it may be easier to reach Rygerfjord if you carry heavy luggage.
The reception for the Wi-fi varies greatly depending on where you are located in the boat, but generally there is good reception in the room. You can also rent a bike right at the hotel for a very reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast has a lot of variety, including some traditional Swedish food and the price for it is alright.

Walking distance to old city and bus and train station, you can walk from this hotel to all the important things that you want to see, I think it should have more then two stars, we were staying in triple room with bathroom.

Being onboard makes the stay something different, much more interesting than the usual characterless hotel chains. We were in a double room with en suite (the captain's cabin) so we had the best of both worlds - something unique (at least in our experience) but with the expected home comforts.
There are also rooms with double bunks and larger rooms so it caters for all tastes and pockets.

Once known as “Knife Söder” for its rough neighborhoods, Södermalm is now one of the trendiest parts of Stockholm with a thriving artist community. In the last few years, ABBA’s Benny has opened a boutique hotel here called Rival.
