The Bethlehem Hotel is a trip back in time to when staying in a hotel was a special occasion. The hotel is beautifully restored down to every 1920's detail . Upstairs the guest rooms are quiet and comfortable. The lobby is ringed by a beautiful mezzanine that looks down upon the formal dining room, leather reading chairs, and diners at the bar restaurant. Marble and mahogany reign! Below the main lobby is the gift and ice cream shop right out of childhood memories. We booked the hotel in order to attend a concert at the Sands Event Center, and were pleasantly notified that the hotel runs a shuttle there and back. After the concert, while my husband enjoyed a drink at the bar, I enjoyed two scoops of peanut butter swirl ice cream- at the bar!

I loved it went with a friend and we both agreed the staff was helpful and polite! The room was really good had a TV, coffee machine, iron and the board, blow dryer, and a great AC. A nice comfy chair. The bed was firm enough which is great if u have a bad back!

Upon entering this Bed and Breakfast we were greeted and shown our booked room and then given the option to change if so desired. Room 28 faces the rear yard and beautiful fall foliage. The private bath and cozy accommodations reminded me of visiting with family. King size bed rather than a queen would have been the only wish for improvement. The living room offered a crackling fire and comfortable antique furnishings. The breakfast was elegantly served and delicious. I would definitely recommend this romantic getaway rather than some of the local choices.

Nice place, no weird smells (a show stopper for me), super clean room, bathroom, and sheets. Temperature controls were responsive to make us comfortable. Extra blankets and pillows appeared quickly when requested. Pool was small but useful, staff was very nice and available when needed. We needed and got enough room and supplies for two adults and a ten and twelve year old.
