Excellent location so close to the airport no need for a taxi. Great views!! The hotel restaurant sooo good. The sushi is to die for!!! We recommend the Monkey Brains and the Yen Yen both. It was so fresh can't be beat
(both are sushi rolls). Excellent location for other restaurants also. Wild Mangos don't leave with having the flourless chocolate cake. Lattitudes for breakfast. Estele's for breakfast and lunch.

Nice location on the beach with a private dock, 5-10 minute walk into the heart of San Pedro.
Staff very helpful and courteous.
Room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable.
Ambergis Caye is a beautiful island close to the reef with countless sites for scuba diving/snorkeling. We flew Tropic Air from Belize City to San Pedro, which was a quick 20 minute flight. Courtesy taxi from airport to hotel.
We loved our stay here and definitely would like to come back in the future and I would definitely stay in Caye Casa again.

We went for our honeymoon trip and had an amazing experience with the Matachica Resort and Spa. We had been emailing the resort prior to purchasing our plane tickets and their responses were very helpful and right on. When we arrived the staff was there to greet us at the airport and shuttle us to the resort, never had to touch our bags once after we grabbed it from the plane. The staff was very friendly and each made it a point to learn your name. The resort was beautiful and quiet for us honeymooners/couples. All of the guest we met seem to have the same opinion. The food was great and the drinks cold. The staff would always ask how things are going or if you need anything. It was our first time in Belize and we went through the resort to book our excursions such as snorkeling Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley, also our zip line and cave tubing. The excursion were spot on and we had the best time! Each event was done with class and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. THe resort had a crew picking up sea grass that would blow in during hire tide and the did an excellent job keeping the beach clean. The pool was great. Bugs weren't bad except for one night but the staff had OFF ready at hand. The huts had a/c which was nice. The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. The resort had free kayak rentals which you could go out and snorkel at a nearby reef. Spa was great,Again this was an amazing experience and very stress free and low keep trip

I'd say Cocobeach is one of the top 3 of nicest places to stay on Ambergris Caye. The only downside being the distance from town. Food and drinks are substantially cheaper off the resort but it will cost you to get to them, ($5 USD per person both ways to town on the water taxi). The staff is friendly and treats you like royalty. A perfect place if your looking for a top notch pampered vacation.

Very friendly, well maintained and quiet. We put five in one room, no extra charge for the rollaway which the staff set up right away for us. We got a call and they brought the phone to our room. Really haven't seen such a good staff before. Someone mopped the exterior floors, stairs every day.
Only down side; this side of the island is inundated with seaweed right now (3/15) which smells bad and makes the beach unusable, not the hotel'so fault, it's everywhere. Regulars said they'd never seen it like this before. We were all so sunburned from snorkeling it didn't matter to us.

Sunbreeze Suites is everything we needed. Close to the shore for walks on the beach. All the tours you book will pick you up and drop you off at the dock. We ate dinner at the restaurant but also ate at other restaurants close by. When you walk out on to the streets you will see lots of locals with there handmade wood crafts and jewellery made with shells and red corals and turquoise just beautiful stuff for sell. Shops and grocery stores are right close by. So the location is excellent. Our suite was like a little home away from home. The bedroom, washroom and kitchen and dining sitting room were all separate rooms. We could get up in the morning and make our own breakfast and eat the local fruit we bought. Then have coffee on the balcony with a gorgeous view and the famous San Pedro breeze. Staff was friendly. We ordered the 5 gallon water jug for our room and had it delivered right away. Our house keepers were sweethearts. If you need anything like if you run out of coffee you just have to ask them. Oh and the coffee they give you for the coffee machine in the room is sooo good. Thankyou Sunbreeze Staff for making us feel like home.

Wonderful resort. Great restaurant, staff, pool, and ammenities. Close by dive and snorkel shop are great and their staff are really concerned about your safety and your experience. We can't say enough about our stay.

Each day was a waking of great coffee facing the beach, followed by breakfast most pleasant delivered while reading my book and ocean breezes wafting over my face. Each night was inexpensive drinks with friendship all around.

The largest of several cayes (islands) off the northern coast of Belize, this narrow strip of paradise is beloved among sun-worshippers, snorkelers, and swimmers. In addition to boasting the Belize Barrier Reef, the island is home to mangrove forests, tropical savannahs, and lagoons.
