"AYCM Resort-Perfect Winter Retreat!!!"
Having traveled all over the Caribbean, I have stayed in condo apartments, small boutique hotels in town, small/medium/large resorts on the beach, as well as international brand hotels. I can say without reservation that the Antigua Yacht Club Marina Resort is an exceptional property. When traveling one must be clear about the kind of experience you want to have in order to choose the right place to stay. The last time I came to Antigua I stayed at a somewhat secluded luxury resort that was away from town - very lovely, quiet and serene, which was the experience I wanted for that trip. For this trip, I was staying longer and wanted a different experience. I wanted to be in/near town, shops, restaurants, activities/nightlife, people, (residents and visitors alike). I wanted to have a lovely space in which to stay/call home for 2 weeks that allowed me to have time to myself when I wanted and allowed me to be out and about/engage with others/sight-see/eat out/shop when I wanted. For me, for this trip, the AYCM Resort was the perfect property in terms of location, the studio apartment-style rooms, the beauty of the property grounds and most importantly - the people! The staff of AYCM Resort (Devin, Jackie, Meechi, Kashif and Simone) are PHENOMENAL! They were supportive, engaging and willing to assist in any way they could. But, more importantly, they did all this with seemingly effortless grace, while making me feel so welcome, at home and more than just a resort guest.

"Heaven on earth!"
This is truly paradise. Our cottage was amazing, the view and the bed was so comfortable. The staff are amazing and the food was good. The only problem was the length of our stay. We will definitely be returning. It is the perfect spot for romance. Absolutely love cocobay!

"Perfect customer service"
We had a magical time, partly due to both the beautiful setting but, more significantly, the wonderful staff. Every single one, from the groundsman who swept the beach clean every morning to the manager of the wedding service, was helpful, friendly and brilliant. Nothing was ever too much trouble, even when we were maybe asking too much. Any time we asked a question, the answer comes with a smile and "you're welcome" when we remembered to say thank you. All the food was very high standard and the choice quite amazing. The local fish catch in particular was tasty and varied. We particularly liked the type of buildings, low rise in the local style and lovely, slightly old style, furniture. We were there for a family wedding and this was organised beautifully with a lovely local feel to the ceremony. We believe there are plans to redevelop the site to standardize the rooms and processes. We are concerned that you may lose the charm and relaxed friendly atmosphere. We are also concerned that the staff do not seem to be kept informed and don't know if their jobs are safe. On an island where tourism is the only stable employment, this is poor management, please treat these wonderful people better.

"Amazing location and fantastic food"
Hotel itself is a little tired but this is more than made up for by location, staff who can't do enough for you and fantastic food. This has been our 3rd stay in as many months and never disappointed. Will definitely go again for a relaxing weekend away and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

"Great relaxing holiday"
apartments are clean and well maintained. Bit isolated, great for couples, Coconut Grove Restaurant & Bar on the beach to the left served great food. There is Tonys bar on beach past sandals for great Carribean food. Italian Le Bussola taxi ride 5 mins or 15minute walk down the road was also good. Casino next door is going to have a restaurant soon, which would be another restaurant in walking distance. There is a Bar across the road that serves Pizza and burgers etc. only open in evenings also has crazy golf. Apart from that there is nothing else around the location of the Village. Overall my husband and I had a great relaxing holiday, is the first time we had stayed in an apartment and I was a bit concerned as to what to expect I am glad I was not disappointed and I can be quite funny when it comes to cleanliness etc., inspecting mattress and the like. We will definitely be back.

"Great place outside of town"
We booked this hotel as we needed an extra couple of nights on our stay and the other hotel we had booked could not accommodate us. Really glad we did as it gave us a chance to stay in this quiet place just outside the main bustle of St Johns. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially when I left my sun glasses in one of the taxis. They called them up and arranged for it to come back and drop them off. Outside the hotel you look over McKinnon’s Pond towards the sea and there is a big supermarket nearby if needed so not far from Dickenson Bay or the Cricket Ground (which was why we were there). You can walk into St Johns but you may decide a taxi is a better option (we did). Well worth staying here if you prefer a quieter place to lay your head outside the resort locations.

"Very convenient small hotel"
We stayed at Siboney for two nights only at the end of our holiday in Antigua and truly enjoyed the time there, primarily due to its convenient location just on the beach and the cosy facilities. The hotel rooms are not super spacious but were just the right size for two. The hotel has its own allocated portion of the beach (although it is open to everyone) and is next to the famous Sandals and some other resorts, as well as right next to a long 'deserted' beach, i.e. without hotels along the coast - so great for an evening stroll or running. It also has a nice bar/restaurant on the beach with decent food and nice cocktails. Staff is very friendly too! Oh, and they have a small outdoors pool in the yard which was a nice addition to the great sea. Overall, had a great time and would recommend for a quiet holiday.
