The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She had an info package, several choices for breakfast and the house was very clean. There was great wifi and a computer in the common area in case you didn't bring your own devices. There was also a very large and obvious sign and it was minutes from Giant's Causeway, Bushmills distillery and the village.

Right from an early communication we knew we were in for a special treat staying here. On arrival the owner carried our bags upstairs and then made us tea and biscuits which we took in the drawing room. The house was amazing. It had quite a history, some of which was well documented and available to read. There were also lots of books everywhere, you would never be short of anything to read here! The rooms were spotlessly clean and all very well furnished. Nice touches included LOTS of pillows, lots of well known brand toiletries, very comfortable beds and were all well furnished with cupboard space, chairs etc. The breakfast was lovely too. We started with poached plums and crème fraiche, there were cereals and we had a freshly cooked Irish Fry which was lovely but there were other options. The cutlery and tableware was all exquisite. The owner was very helpful and chatty throughout our stay and gave us the friendliest welcome I've ever had in a B&B! Quite simply the best B&B I have ever stayed at and excellent value. Will undoubtedly visit again. Thank you

This place was a gem. With a little pub downstairs and very helpful staff, I'd recommend it and hope I get to go back someday. The manager on duty even drove us into a nearby town for some take away upon our late arrival.

Stay here if you are in Portrush.
Alan called us on the day to say hi and to check the time we thought we may arrive just to ensure everything was sorted for us which was so thoughful. On arrival we were pleasantly suprised at how lovely the building and surrounding gardens are as the net photos do it no justice. The beds were so comfy. The rooms were very fresh and bright, we could not of asked for more really.
Alan gave us a little heads up of where to go and what to see. We took his advice and had the best steak ever at Harbour Bar, another place you must go to if you are in Portrush. The food was fantastic and such a fabulous little bistro. The food is so cheap for what it is.
When we got back we were also given the option of what time we would like our breakfast. Breakfast is normally set hours but Alan was so flexible and was happy to accomodate our every need, including a lovely little wake up call just prior to what I can only describe as the best breakfast. Im not a full fried breakfast type of girl but Alan can cook. The fried bread was out of this world, I completely cleaned my plate.
Alan and his family were just lovely, even giving us brochures for half price admission to Bushmills Brewery.
I would recommend anyone visiting Portrush to stay here. You will not be disappointed. You will be very well rested with a belly full of yummy breakfast.
Thanks again Alan and Family, we really loved our stay with you and will definately be back.
