"Travelling with our pet dog"
We chose this hotel purely because it allowed us to take our dog - but we'll definitely go back. We had a room with patio doors so that we could take our dog straight outside without walking him through the hotel. But in the hotel he was allowed in the bar and all the staff were lovely about him and to him.

"Charming hotel with welcoming staff"
I stayed for one night on business. Perfectly good bar meal served by friendly staff. Room 26 very comfortable with small lounge area with sofa and TV. Bed firm but comfortable. Hotel generally quiet but disturbed in night by occasional gushing of water tank in loft. Cooked Breakfast excellent. Recommend and overall great value for money and Julie's a great hostess.

Pocket Guide: Lancashire Blackburn 3 stars Pet-friendly Hotels

Home to Blackburn Rovers Football Club, this former mill town was an economic powerhouse during the Industrial Revolution. There are a number of attractive parks in the city, and some interesting buildings, including the impressive 19th century Technical School and the Italianate Town Hall. The rolling hills and reservoirs of the West Pennine Moors are just a short bus ride away.
