"Friendly and accommodating"
The room was a suite and very nice and clean. Dogs were allowed at a small extra charge. The chef cooked for us even though we arrived a bit late at the restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were allowed to check in a bit early. The grounds are pleasant. There is a pool and I wish I had taken my swimming costume!

"Good hotel near were we wanted to be"
Hotel easy to find staff very welcoming .There was to be a wedding on the Saturday of our stay and as our room was over disco we were pre warned about this .We were not bothered by this and the music finished earlier than we were told.Although the hotel was on a busy road at night it was very quiet.Breakfast was excellent.

Home to Blackburn Rovers Football Club, this former mill town was an economic powerhouse during the Industrial Revolution. There are a number of attractive parks in the city, and some interesting buildings, including the impressive 19th century Technical School and the Italianate Town Hall.
