My dad and i stayed in this hotel for 8 days, we ve never been in Bogota before. The hotel is very nice, the staff is excellent, they helped us with everything.....special thanks to ALEXANDER, he is the receptionist that works the night shift, very helpful, keep up the good work. The hotel is located nearby a busy street so you wont have any problems grabbing a taxi or a bus.......there are many restaurants and shopping malls walking distance from the hotel, so dont be shy or intimidated by the big city.........carrera 9 is just 2 blocks from the hotel so is the calle 100, this streets will help get to your destination quicker.......also breakfast is very good, they have a buffet style breakfast, they make you fresh eggs the way you want it, they have all types of fruits, pastries, cereals, drinks, and typical colombian food......its a very good hotel

We had a fantastic experience at the Hotel Casa Paquin. Oscar, the owner, is the most gracious host - he spent quite a bit of time with us, helping us decide what to do and see, and how to navigate the city (including drawing little maps for us!). We felt right at home, and it's clear that all of the staff care about their guests (they even let us change in an unused room before our late night flight out of Bogota, after checking out earlier in the day). The location was perfect, within walking distance of the Zona T and Zona Rosa, for great food/drinks and shopping, and was also only 3 blocks from the Transmilenio, giving us easy access to the rest of the city. The beds were the most comfortable of any place I stayed in Colombia, and the breakfast was great way to start the day. I would absolutely stay here again, and can't recommend it highly enough. It was also extremely affordable!

An old building in an old and very picturesque part of town, but cleverly and effectively renovated into a really quite charming small hotel. Very comfortable bed, loads of covers for those chilly nights (and an effective space heater if you wish), large and clean bathroom with shower, small desk, good wifi. Breakfast: fresh cut fruit, fresh squeezed juice, fresh bread, eggs cooked on the spot to your liking, and coffee of course. Staff totally helpful. Small markets very close. Surprisingly quiet at night. The walk to downtown is quick and easy. Guidebook says not to walk alone after dark; I didn't put that to the test, but daytime the streets have lots of students and I felt totally safe.
