An old fire engine house made into a nice hotel, handy for the subway which stops just opposite. The open top bus tour stops just nearby too. Fabulous breakfast which can be eaten indoors or outdoors. Right in the middle of the MIT, high tech area so not many eating places nearby although you can find some if you are prepared to walk (or take the subway) - don't bother with a car.

Friendly, helpful staff and a lovely building. Seems to have been redecorated recently as well. The room was a good size for sleeping and washing in, you don't need it for much more (the bed was so comfy!). Very close to Copley Square, a lot of shopping areas, parks and is a 20 minute walk from the baseball. The tube/subway is very close - basically next door!
Highly recommend this hotel and I would stay here again whenever I will come back to Boston.
Thanks for an amazing stay!

Booked smaller room initially. Found queen bed too small for us. Asked for change and was given a gorgous room in the historical part of the inn. Simply beautiful room for the price. Staff was always smiling, happy to attend to any need. If your into history, this is the Inn. Restaurants have nice varied menus. All the meals were wonderful. Highly recommend the Colonial Inn.
