This hotel is simply wonderful! The hosts are charming and welcoming. We liked the nice simple breakfast. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It is right on the canal. For us, the walk to downtown we pleasant, but potential guests should be aware that it is about a 15 to 20 minute walk.

We arrived in Bruges early evening, nothing was too much trouble, we were given somewhere safe to store our luggage while the owner took us to the storage units where our bikes were to be securely parked, we were given discount leaflets and a little information about where's best to eat and where to avoid, we'd had problems with one of the bikes enroute, (it was a Ducati) and they were happy to lend us tools to help fix it, the hotel was lovely, the people were very friendly, the food was excellent and everything was so clean, tidy and just so.. We have already told them we will be visiting again next year and may even stay for longer. Couldn't have asked for a better start to our holiday.

The hotel is close to main streets, easy to find, yet surrounded by meadows with sheep and cows. We had a short, but very relaxing stay. The owner showed my kids the "enchanted"caravan room for two and have us great advice regarding trips to Brugge and Ostende. She even gave us her private GPS to find a recommended fish restaurant (which was really good!) close to the beach. The bath room was huge with a big jet bathtub and excellent view over the fields. Unbeatable for Euro 89 for 3 people in the main season; highly recommended.

We stayed 9 - 13 June and really enjoyed the stay. The hotel is ideally situated just 2 minutes from the main square and has several bars in close proximity for that last minute night cap. The bus route is right outside on the cobbled street so can be noisy if your windows are open. One tip, dont eat on the square, its expensive and not brilliant, there is a great steak house behind the hotel which is grwat value and good food!!

We stayed here for 2 nights recently and I was more than pleased with everything. The staff were so, so friendly and helpful, even providing us with timetables for the trains and buses back to the airport. We, however, had booked a standard room to start with but upgraded to a superior room for an extra EUR20. Well worth it as what a difference between the two! We had our own walk-out onto veranda that overlooked a little cobbled street. The hotel is central to all the sights, it is tucked away off the main square, where there is a fab market every Saturday morning, and only a short walk from the train and bus station. The breakfast buffet was just gorgeous with croissants, pastries, breads, cereals, yogurts, juices and tea/coffee aswell as a hot breakfast if you so wanted. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of staying in Bruges.
