Very "authentic" apartments in Palermo. It is not a "hotel" in the typical sense in that there is no front desk or lobby area. They are apartments which can be confusing when first arriving. Be ready to call upon arrival so someone comes and gives you key. They overbooked when i was there but put me up in a really modern and nice place a couple blocks away, however did get to see what would have been my room. Like I said it was very charming and what I would expect a typical local's apartment to look like.

Everything works. Clean, private, daily housekeeping, spacious, a small kitchen, comfortable bed, laundry (washed and ironed), Wi-Fi, land line phone. German at the front desk speaks English and extremely helpful. Household staff courteous and friendly. The start of a nice day when Gabby brings coffee, orange juice, and croissants at the time we asked for it in the morning. Convenient to all of Recoleta.

We had read other reviews and based our stay off this - amazing boutique hotel. I usually stay in the big chains, but they were priced too expensively in BA to make it worth my while, also not located in the lovely palermo area.
The atmosphere at the hotel was great. The french owner was very friendly to us, and appears that a lot of the staff speak french. 2 lovely ladies helped us throughout our stay in addition to the owner who helped scan some documents etc
If the owner is reading this the first lady helped us for the first 2 nights with our restaurant choices. Campbravo was amazing, and by showing the card the hotel gave us we ended up with 2 free glasses of champage each!
The second lady made no hassle of booking us a remis at the end of the trip and also giving us general info about the area. Both were extremely helpful and really felt like friends right from the get go.

We had a hard time finding a place when our flight to Patagonia was cancelled so we changed a couple of hotels during our stay in Buenos Aires.
Jam was the cutest one so far and we truly wish we could have stayed longer.
It is in the hippest neighborhood so it is a little bit pricey. You also have to keep in mind that you won't find the luxuries of a hotel. But it has all the charm that you can't find in a hotel as well.
The staff was great. Very friendly, very very helpful.
The open buffet breakfast was not the best. It was quite limited but the pan bread was so good it compensated everything. (The other places we stayed in, served only toast bread and did not have a versatile buffet either but were expensive hotels all the same)
Our stay in Jam was an experience in itself and it added so much to our stay in Buenos Aires !!!
