The Country Inn & Suites was an excellent choice for my daughter & I on our recent vacation. The hotel is reasonably close to all the local attractions, the hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room clean and spacious, and the building and grounds well maintained. I would highly recommend saying here to anyone, especially those travelling with family.

We found this hotel online without knowing anything. All rooms in the area were full and we got lucky and found they had a cancellation when we were looking. We were very pleasantly surprised at how neat a boutique hotel it was when we arrived. Great location for restaurants and walking around to see things in historic district of Charleston. Great people and neat place.

Quaint, comfortable and delightful hospitality. I was greeting on the street with the fragrance of the Jasmine plants in bloom and entered the open air courtyard with other interesting plants and a water fountain that added a nice sound to the atmosphere.

My husband and I stayed four nights, and we loved the continental breakfast served in our room each morning. The evening wine and cheese party as well as the sherry in the lobby was a lovely touch. The bed was comfy and quiet. The best part was the convenient location, within walking distance to many historical sights and lots of shopping. It's a bit pricey, but it seems comparable to other hotels in the same area. We were very satisfied overall.

We celebrated our 35th wedding annv. at Tides Folly Beach! The staff was amazing. When we checked in they asked our plans and gave really great suggestions. We ended up riding a train through a light exhibit that we would have not known about had it not been for the staff. When a restaurant was closed they suggested an alternative "Loggerhead", it was within walking distance and GREAT crab legs! When they say Ocean Front they mean it, not looking around your porch to see a piece of ocean! We opened our blinds every morning and watch the sun come up over the pier! It was the best place I've stayed at and will be the only place I stay from now on!! I will say the restaurant on site was expensive, but it was very good! What great memories!!

We had a lovely one night stay. The grounds are gorgeous, quiet, and very romantic. If I were asked to knit-pick, the plumbing and fixtures are starting to show a little age, and when walking around outside, one might get the occasional sense that the waste ventilation could use an updating. Overall, we had a beautiful time and will certainly back.

Made last minute reservation and got a great rate. Hotel is within walking distance of a great public boardwalk along the Shem Rivver and restaurants and bars. Sat on our balcony and watched all the activities on the water. Paddle boaters, sailboats and Shrimp boats all docked at the pier.
