We arrived in the early evening and were assigned a room. The bell boy accompanies us to the room smelled heavy cigarette smoke and requested a change of room for us without us having to ask for the change. He saw that we had small children and was concerned. Every time we were in contact with hotel staff they were more than helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great inexpensive hotel with all the resort amenities. The fresh coffee in the morning and the Jamiaca in the afternoon they put out to drink just made it that much more pleasant. It is a little outside of the center and a great location if you want to experience locals nightlife as opposed to general tourism. Walking distance to restaurants, and even a crazy rock and roll bar right across the street. This is a perfect headquarters to base yourself at to see Mexico's most cultured state. They even sell locally made Colima pottery dogs in the lobby. I will return for the festival of Guadalupe again for sure! Only a $30 peso cab ride downtown, or $50 to Villa Alvarez which is worth a peak too.
