"lovely little hotel."
I loved this little hotel. It had a beautiful art deco exterior and a delightful interior. the staff were attentive and pleasant. We had our luggage delayed by the airline for two days and the staff were helpful in guiding us to the best shops. When our luggage did arrive they ensured it was checked before the courier left. We were upgraded to a room each with connecting door. there were not enough towels but we asked for more and they were brought to us. Breakfast was buffet style and had a great array of foods. Tea, coffee and toast were available as you sat at your table.

"Ideal location - close to Coliseum, restaurants"
Wonderful hide-away in a very great Rome location. Close to old Rome, Metro, yet very quiet and peaceful. Cute decor and amenities. Many local restaurants in neighborhood. Would choose Hotel Romance again. Only 4 years old now and a great secret spot. Would recommend the double room overlooking the private garden (room 25). Wonderful staff, helpful!

"Very good area and staff"
The area that the hotel is in is very good, it's apparently called the 'cool'area and you can see why! Surrounded by lovely restaurants, shops, etc. the staff in the hotel are lively and will help you with anything We stayed in the annexe room which was small and dated. The road is very noisy as it's such a popular area. The breakfast is ok but choice is minimal. We ate out for breakfast a couple of days because of this. Overall, a lovely staff team and great location but it could do with decorating/updating and a varied breakfast menu.

"Great hotel in lovely location"
We were only in town for a day but very much enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious enough for 4 of us. The bathroom was clean and updated. The elevator worked well if needed or you could use the lovely staircase. The hotel staff were always pleasant and ready to assist although some had limited English. The lady at breakfast was extraordinarily lovely and willing to please, offering us croissants and cappuccino's to go as we were not staying because we had booked breakfast at the Vatican. I definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Rome - only a few hundred yards from the forum/ruins and about .5km from the coliseum on a lovely street with many cafe's/restaurants.

Pocket Guide: Rome Colosseum - Roman Forum 3 stars Hotels

The heart of Ancient Rome, all roads led to the Forum. Visitors flock here to walk the streets where Julius Caesar once trod when this was the centre of commercial, political and judicial life. Nearby, the Colosseum, described by Lord Byron as 'the gladiators' bloody circus', is the world's most famous amphitheatre and the most impressive of all Rome's buildings and ruins.
