We had a lovely stay in October. Although several of the tavernas had closed for the season we found a different one to eat in each evening. The swimming pool was rather cold but would be fantastic in the summer when it would be hotter. There was a lovely walk through the olive trees to Locanis where there were several restaurants with fantastic views over the island.

Me and my wife were more than pleased with this hotel.
First of all, it is within 50m of the beach, so all you have to do is grab yout towel and go for a swim.
The rooms are larger than average and pretty basic, but more than sufficient and very clean. All of them have see-view balcony from where you can watch the sunset. I have to say that the bed was a bit small and hard for me but hey, I'm 6'5'', it is quite hard for me to find a proper bed...
Breakfast was good - the highlights were the tasty tomatoes with feta cheese, the greek youghurt and the terrace where breakfast is served.
The owner was always around and really made us feel good. He was very helpful and gave us loads of information, including arranging our airport pick-up and car rental.
The hotel has also its own taverna which is just on the beach. We have been there for 12 days and did not manage to eat everything from the menu, although we did our best. Everything was absolutely delicious, would definetely recommend the traditional vegetable dishes... The prices are ok, we usually spend somewhere between 20-30 euros between the two of us for a full meal and a drink or two.

Stayed here based on other reviews and we weren't disappointed. The rooms were large and spotless. When we arrived there was a complimentary bottle of wine and water. Danae Apartments are in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the beach. We were in room no: 3 which had a large balcony with both sea and hillside views. The only down side was in this apartment was that the shower was hand held over the bath but the water pressure was amazing so it didn’t cause us any problems. The kitchen was well equipped but we didn’t bother to cook as there was a good selection of restaurants close by – Thalassa was our favourite. Overall we had a very relaxing stay and would definitely choose Danae again if visiting Corfu.

The Panorama Hideaway is set in nice grounds with a lovely pool area and magnificent views of the sea and hills. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach which in all honesty is nothing special. We stayed most of the time around the pool which was mostly very quiet and peaceful ( the only negative being that the sunbeds had no mattresses, which would of been more comfortable for us, so come on Sakis, buy some mattresses and we will see you again next year ). We would normally eat out on a night time but the food was so good at the restaurant that we ate there every meal !!!, breakfast which had lovely bread, cheese, ham, tomatoes, honey and occasionally eggs. Lunch you could eat anything from the same evening menu, plus there were snacks if you wanted. Food in general was very good, even after seven days and nights there was enough choice to keep you well satisfied.
The owners are very friendly and hospitable, Sakis and Anita who will help you with anything you may need. Maria the young lady who takes your food orders is a real character ( an absolute charmer and a real star ). The lady who kept our room clean and tidy is also so lovely ( I am sorry I have forgotten your name, but you made us feel so welcome ).
All in all, it is a beautiful place to stay, good food and very hospitable owners and staff at a very reasonable price.
Well done to all and we hope to see you next year ( just get some mattresses !!! )

My family and I stayed here in August this year and we all had a great time, the Hotel is kept immaculate, the rooms were spacious, modern and cleaned daily. Its a great boutique hotel, run by a lovely italian family, Jessica and Cici were great hosts, along with the staff Anne and Gian Luca, all of them made us feel like we were at home and part of the family, nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant a few times, where the food was really good, alittle pricey but good quality. Breakfast was also good. I found the location great, the sea was right outside the door with steps down into it, it was sandy with a few rocks and stays quite shallow, however it was great for snorkelling with the kids. The main town of Sidari is about a 5 - 10 minute walk and has the usual tavernas, bars, clubs and shops, good to wander around. We met some lovely people there and cant wait to go back next year, perhaps for a romantic week with the wife....
