Sun apartments definitely didn't work for us. I went for the 3 star rating as it was meant to be "near" the beach - try 10-20minutes walk depending on ur pace. They put my 70 something mother and I in an apartment where one needed to climb 2 flights of steps or a steep slope to get access (no lifts). I requested a move on day 1 but we never got one despite people checking in and out all week.
The room was clean but beds very low and small, miniscule dressing table and tv. The ensuite had a walk in shower with curtain which did not prevent the bathroom flooding each time it was used.
Nice helpful chamber made - cheap in price but although we liked Acharavi we won't be going back to this hotel

The room was basic - very small shower, but the hotel was great. There were was lots to do in the hotel complex - organised activities, evening entertainment, water sports, etc. The food was really good with a variety of foods for breakfast and lots of different dishes at dinner. We were on a half board basis and every night the food was varied and well cooked. The hotel is literally right on the water front and far enough from Moraitika to have a relaxing break, but close enough if you want to enjoy the town.

Having read previous reviews about this hotel, we were slightly apprehensive about booking it but we're glad we did. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for us as a family, away from the "madness" of Kavos but only a 10 minute walk to the main strip or a short cab ride (expect to pay about €8).
We were given a room with a pool and sea view and we couldn't have asked for a better one. The room was basic but adequate for our needs. The biggest gripe we had was with the shower which flooded every time we used it. We had to use our hand towels to push the water down the drain otherwise we would have slipped on the wet floor. They could do with providing a mop for the bathroom.
We often had breakfast at the pool bar and occasionally lunch. The food was good and there was a good choice available. We also ate out nearby at the Venus Pizzeria and the Rose Tree Taverna, both served delicious food. The Rose Tree was particularly good for traditional Greek food. We ate dinner mostly in the restaurants on the main strip. I would recommend Eves Garden and Terry's. The choices are endless and you could eat in a different place every night if you wanted.
The hotel provided entertainment most nights e.g. Karaoke, Bingo, Quiz Night, Children's Disco. Valentina was in charge of the entertainment and we also booked a couple of trips directly with her to Aqualand (highly recommended) and the Corfu Island Tour.

Just came back from Mediterranean Blue yesterday after an 8 night stay & all I can say is that I did not want to leave. The hotel is beautiful, the food is fantastic & the staff are wonderful. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the main strip but its close enough to walk & far enough to be peaceful. The hotel has its own restaurant on the strip & they will take you there or deliver free of charge & you must visit it... the food is out of this world. My wife & I loved every thing about our stay & the staff did everything possible to guarantee that. We miss the place, the food, the atmosphere & especially the staff. We would & have highly recommend Mediterranean Blue.
