I was in Daytona on a working vacation. My room was well set up to allow me to have a work space and a relaxing space. WiFi worked great and having access to a business center was very useful. The pool Area was clean and quiet which made it possible to work from outside ad well.

The staff was extremely helpful and professional. They were very knowledgeable about the area and was able to give us suggestions for restaurants based on what we wanted to eat. The breakfast in the morning was awesome. It's nice not having to worry about a meal during your stay. They had great selections for what ever you may want for breakfast. They also serve really nice dinners during the week. When we go back to check my sub into college, we will be staying there again.

Room was large with kitchen and the hotel is right on the beach. Plenty of places to eat and party within walking distance from the hotel. I had a good time went to the sports bar across the street and watched all of the Sunday NFL games.

Great hotel. It is a little bit of an older hotel but overall is in pretty good condition. The staff at this hotel is really what makes it worth it's stay. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was in very good condition. The restaurant had very good food and great service. And special thanks to Dawn, Pat, the chef, and Kent. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here as will I on my return to Daytona Beach.

The hotel is right on the beach with an excellent room view. The pool is big with a kiddie pool beside it. This is my first trip to Daytona and I will not hesitate to come back and stay at this hotel. My family stayed a few hotels down from here and their place was much smaller than the Maverick. It's very quiet and family oriented. The only downfall was that the rooms did not have wifi.. You would have to go to the lobby for wifi..

As this was my third stay at the Oceanside you can probably tell that I like it. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast is nice although the offerings were better the first two stays. The hotel is showing its age but I think it adds a touch of class. The lobby is very attractive and the grounds around the pool are kept impeccable. I plan on staying here during my next visit to Daytona.
