"Hidden Gem"
The Luxx hotel is an unknown gem of Santa Fe. The hotel does not have fancy amenities but is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and convenient for accessing the sights and galleries of Santa Fe. This hotel room felt like home during our stay. They provide a small refrigerator and microwave that even included a toaster oven compartment. Access to the hotel is a bit convoluted (down a hall, through a door, and down another hallway) but clearly labeled. I am not big on spending a ton of money for a room to sleep in but do want to sleep comfortably. The Luxx fits the need. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Very comfortable, excellent decor, good location, short walk to most attractions. Only slight negative is that first floor has people walking past window. For privacy, blinds must be closed.

"Friendly, clean, amazing amenities"
This hotel was perfect from the friendly staff, to the beautiful and comfortable room, to the "happy hour" drinks and food bar, the breakfast buffet, and the gorgeous lobby with roaring fireplace. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the middle of Sante Fe and walk to all the shops, museums, restaurants, and churches. Relaxing, quiet, and friendly.

"Great place to stay near Santa Fe's Plaza"
This was our second stay in the past few months. We were given a deluxe room this time, and it was even nicer than the last. Very roomy and comfortable, with a large kitchen, enormous bath and very comfortable bedroom and living area. Linens and pillows were very good, and the sofa bed quite comfortable. The only slight negative was that I prefer a softer mattress in the bedroom. The entire suite was extremely clean, and the desk personnel were always courteous and attentive. They were very quick to take us via shuttle to the plaza restaurant of our choice, which is a great convenience. I have noted other reviews which complained of noise, but we did not experience any noise during either stay, and the last one was during spring break. I'm glad we did not let those reviews frighten us away. The only reason I would have to look for another place to stay in Santa Fe is if we were to choose to take our dog along next time, as this is a pet-free facility. Otherwise, this will be the place for us!

"A Warm Hospitable Home in Santa Fe"
This is an exceptionally welcoming hotel after a long ride from Albuquerque Airport. Front desk staff were excellent. Location is terrific and in easy walking distance to most of Santa Fe's attractions and restaurants. Room was well-appointed and comfortable. It would be my pleasure to stay here again.

"The best, modest, close to everything, motel in Sa"
I booked a Casita, one of the little apartment type rooms for myself and my dog. I am 54 years old and I almost cried with delight when I entered the room after a half country trip from Key West. Stayed 4 nights while my car got worked on at Subaru. Huge King bed, desk, drawers, exposed rafters, terra cotta tile floors, ceiling fan, little touches like red chile peppers placed on the towels, a rubber duck by the tub, a yoga mat, cotton balls and q tips, extra blankets, a good sized fridge and new microwave, lots of hot water, quiet quiet quiet as the casitas are around the side off a residential back road. Right across the street from the Railyard area with galleries and walking trails, close to downtown, a food market across the street, Trader Joes and Whole Foods 5 minutes away, the breakfasts were awesome, eggs, sausage, beans, chilies, tortillas bred, fruit, the cleaning staff never bothered you but seemed to quietly out of sight wait until you left the room to clean. Sitting area outside the casita with chairs and table....

Pocket Guide: Santa Fe Downtown Santa Fe 3 stars Hotels

Downtown Santa Fe has some of the nation’s oldest buildings. The Palace of the Governors has been in use since the early 1600s. For 400 years, Santa Fe Plaza has hosted markets and special events. West of the plaza, Santuario de Guadalupe is the oldest U.S. shrine to the Virgin Mary. The New Mexico State Capitol is also downtown. Nearby, the acclaimed Santa Fe Opera conducts performances alfresco.
