We stayed here on our 1st and last night in Sublin and it was great. The entire staff is very friendly and always willing to help you. ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND SPACIOUS, We had both with a dry, 2 person sauna, but it is the staff that makes the place get high marks. VERY NICE PEOPLE. The hiuse itself is over 120 yrs old. But roooms are modern and bathrooms are as well. There is a grear locals pub right around the corner to, aboit a 5 min walk, yahooo!

I initially booked this hotel a couple of years ago through a special offer. Since then, it's the only hotel I choose when I visit Dublin, and I'm a regular visitor.
The best time to stay (especially if your a hurling fan) is any time that Kilkenny are playing at croke park and more specifically all Ireland weekend. It's absolutely buzzing, a fantastic atmosphere. But even if you're not a sports lover, this hotel is perfectly situated. The airport bus (747) drops and collects you directly outside the hotel. You are practically on o'connell street. 5 minute walk from restaurants, bars and shops the luas and Moore street, 15 walk from croke park and 15 mins away from Connolly station, busarus or heuston station. It is also very easy (10min train from Connolly station) to Aviva stadium.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet is well worth the money and the dinners in the bistro are delicious and reasonably priced!

From the moment of stepping into the hotel you felt welcomed and valued as a customer/guest. We arrived in the morning not expecting for one minute that we would be allowed to check into our room, but absolutely brilliant we checked straight in and into our room. I know it was luck that the room had not been used the previous night, but there are many hotels out there that would stick to their regulation of not letting anybody check in until whatever their checking in time is, so well done Maldron. Room was very clean and comfortable, and contained all what you need, toiletries, tea making facilities etc. We had breakfast the next morning, again superb, very good value; you helped your self to anything hot or cold and ate as much food or as you little as you wanted.

We had a wonderful stay at Finnstown. The staff was warm and welcoming. We mentioned a small problem at breakfast and by the time we returned to our beautiful room, it was solved.
We ate breakfast each of the mornings we were there. On busy mornings, the entire breakfast was served buffet-style. Everything was delicious. On the days with fewer guests, the hot items were served to order. The hostess was helpful and offered advice for our touring. We would highly recommend Finnstown and would return if we are in the area again.

We had a great time, staff were fab, breakfast was great. Our family room made all the difference with amazing views over the docklands. So close to the Luas, and taxis outside meant that there was no hassle at all. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We chose the HI express as we wanted to be close to the airport for our two day stay before returning to the US. The hotel has a free airport shuttle and is 5 minutes walk to the downtown bus 2.60 euros one way. The room was clean and neat and had free wifi. Breakfast had hot and cold choices. It was a good value and is recommended for staying near the airport.

"Beautiful hotel in the heart of this vibrant city"
Three of us stayed for three days and two nights to celebrate my daughters birthday We arrived from a very early morning flight aware that we weren't due to book in until 3pm, however the staff allowed us to check in many hours early and could not have been more helpful.

I was looking for a quiet hotel, convenient for exploring the city centre but away from the noise of Dublin nightlife. This hotel was ideal - half an hours walk or a short city dart ride away from the city centre and in a residential location, there was very little noise outside and we slept well. The room was comfortable and spacious, with heating that could be turned off and windows that could be opened. The water was hot and the pressure was good allowing for a relaxing bath before bed and an invigorating shower the next morning. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and will definitely be staying here next time I visit Dublin.
