The Guest House looked small from the outside, however inside it like a tardis! The proprietors are welcoming and friendly. My room was very comfortable, everything I could need was provided and it was so very clean, especially the en-suite.
Breakfast was delicious and nothing seemed too much trouble for Janette and John.
All in all it was like staying with friends!!

I was welcomed into the house as though I was a family member. I had full use of the kitchen for cooking an evening meal - a service rarely found elsewhere. As the bus station is some distance from the B&B, I was driven there by the owner the next morning.

We stayed here whilst competing in the national cycling hill climb championships. They were extremely accommodating to our needs and are not strangers to the weekend adventurers.
The rooms were perfect with storage, a comfy mattress and good en suite. Cant really grumble, they ticked all the boxes.
We did not sample the evening food as we already had plans. However, they seemed genuinely disappointed that we didn't sample a full cooked breakfast, which to me shows pride in their food.

Quiet location, but not so far off the beaten track to make it difficult to find or return to the town centre. The setting is delightful, with the hotel being very much in the 'old world' style of wooden panels and pictures of sailing ships, and this is certainly not a criticism. If you want somewhere quiet to stay then this is certainly well worth considering.
