Northern Lights is a group of nine townhomes, mostly owner occupied. The two story home has two bedrooms upstairs each with its own full bathroom. The master bedroom overlooks the ocean and has a screen porch with hammock. Downstairs there is another screen porch, living room, dining area, half-bath, and kitchen complete with washer and dryer. Everything was clean, neat, and convenient. All we had to supply was food, and the owner would have stocked the fridge if we had asked him to do so before we arrived. The snorkeling off the shore is the best on the island, although difficult when it is too windy. On those days we drove (45minutes) to 7 mile beach and snorkeled and wandered in the sun. One of the best restaurants on the island, Over the Edge, is nearby.
We could not have asked for a more beautiful or restful vacation at a fraction of the cost and the hassle of the tourist filled West side.
We hope to return soon and often.

Spotts is a great place to stay in Grand Cayman. It truly feels like a Caribbean vacation with the small public beach that is basically private since it has minimal traffic. If you want hustle and bustle and big city living of the Seven Mile resorts, you could just as easily go to Florida. Spotts is very unique and allows you to experience the East End districts and the tourism, without the "Florida" feeling of living at the Seven Mile. Spotts Beach House made it a nice Caribbean vacation.

"EXCELLENT quiet hidden Beach home at a great deal"
First I would like to say I absolutely fell in LOVE!! It were as if I lived their and had my own beach house. The bed was very comfortable clean fresh linen, and even beach towels. My kitchen was fully equipped to cook anything and refrigerator and air conditioning worked well. I didn't have a coffee pot but immediately was given one when I asked. The living room was comfortable but know limited channels on TV (not that having a poolside apartment I needed one) The pool is small but refreshing throughout hot days and clean. Grounds are old and have lots of overgrown greenery but this is what makes the place A hidden paradise. This is not a resort it is a home away from home but in the Caribbean. The small beach is a 10 minute walk and Georgetown a ten minute walk. The local buses run out of town to seven mile beach, turtle farm and boats to stingray city the best is the bus is only 3 dollars. Trust me island is VERY EXPENSIVE and this quaint little tropical Inn and guest house perfect to save money to see island with savings. Tootie and her husband were very kind and welcoming and made me feel at home and safe. Trust me this place may not be for everyone but if you travel as I do you will find this place a wonderful place to experience the Cayman island. Its away from the crowds and crazy tourist ships. I spend the best 4 days there on my own in peace and will definitely be returning to Eldemires with my daughter. Thanks Tootie and friends I met on my visit.
