Stayed at Kings Courtyard for 4 nights. We had a group of 10 people in Charleston to celebrate our friend's 60 th birthday. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are comfortable, the AC works great. The real gem is the staff. Everybody we encountered from concierges to servers to housekeeping exemplified southern hospitality. The concierge overheard us say our wedding anniversary was the next day and when we arrived in our room after dinner there was a bottle of champagne and glasses in our room on ice. How thoughtful! Everybody was upbeat and ambassadors for Charleston. Suggestions for excursions were shared. We have stayed in many inns and hotels in Charleston over the years and this is our new favorite.

We were celebrating our 50th anniversary. We were made to feel very special. The conscierge helped us plan tours and find restaurants which added to our special getaway. All the staff were very warm and friendly.
