"Beautiful little hotel on a beautiful beach"
I loved my room over looking the ocean it was ckean and spacious the hotel is located next to malls shopping and restaurant the breakfast was included and loved having it overlooking the ocean in the morning. The entire staff were polite and friendly very hospitable I had a minor issue with something in my room and it was taken care of immediately. The only bad part is there is no elevator but I did not mind. I loved my room! Thank u to Carlos on the beach for the umbrellas and chairs everyday. Thank u to Henry at the pool bar Luis at the breakfast restaurant and Juan Carlo for his accommodating way. U guys are the best and I will return again!

"Basic hotel but Perfect!"
We had a a very nice time at this hotel is basic but clean and with a lovely beach with beds with an extra charge the only thing is doesn't has lift but is good if you like exercise, I will stay there again also is very close to the very nice mall (la isla). The breakfast buffet is amazing I can't complain at all. Two minutes from the bus stop.

"Best hotel for the price"
Stayed here for 9 nights in oct 2014. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Reasonably well appointed. Food was ok. Not amazing but fresh and tasty. Small but adequate pool. Close to boulevard kukulcan so easy to get buses. Very helpful travel advisor in hotel lobby helped us plan some tours, pick up from hotel lobby. Absolutely delighted with the hotel for the money. If you want a hotel that has a beach/ swim up bar then probably look elsewhere but this a great hotel with polite staff and plenty of facilities.

"2 hrs from Atlanta..or something like that?!"
If you want to not break the bank for a vacation then this is your place. I gave it a 5 star rating because of exactly that, the price! This was our first time doing an all inclusive thing so we didn't know really know what to expect. Ok, so the hotel itself is a solid 3 stars so know this going in. I've traveled a good bit internationally and this place really isn't bad. Don't expect the Ritz, that's down the road ;) Needs some improvements here and be most importantly, it's clean. We had a junior suite on the sixth floor and the a/c worked great. The grounds are very well maintained and the pools are very clean. The food at the main restaurant has everything you need in it but don't expect fine dining. The Mediterranean is the hotel's fine dining restaurant so be sure to make a reservation with them when you arrive because it's the best meal you will have here. All your adult beverages are included during your stay. We tipped all the bartenders and maids the day we left. Wear sunscreen and expect a lot of fun Europeans. The hotel is about a ten minute bus ride from all the happening bars if that's your scene but I'd say be careful at night. The Bellevue has fun activities all day/night long if you want to get involved. We didn't really do any because of time and we wanted to do a several excursions away from the hotel. We booked excursions online beforehand and saved some money.

"Great hotel for everybody"
The Aquamarina Beach Hotel was a wonderful resort to stay at. It wasn't luxurious but it was very nice. The food was very good and always warm. The rooms were very nice. The whole place was very clean, including the city of Cancun. In the hotel, people were always cleaning the public walkways and pools. They had nice activities for the kids. The view from my room was beautiful. I could see the beach and the pool area and the sun never hit it so the balcony was always nice and cool. I was very pleasantly surprised because I stayed at another all-inclusive hotel in the Bahamas and the food was awful so I thought maybe that was the norm but the Aquamarina far surpassed my expectations. Nothing fancy but very nice. The staff was always very nice and friendly. They always had a smile on their faces. Even though there was a language barrier, they always found somebody who could speak English to help me. Most of the food was served buffet style but they had a separate area that you could have dinner served and it was included in the price. I highly recommend it.

Pocket Guide: Cancun Hotel Zone 3 stars Apartment Hotels

The Cancun Hotel Zone rests on a slit of land bound by a lagoon and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Sunseekers crowd the white-sand beaches. At night, the action moves to the restaurants, clubs, and bars that line Boulevard Kukulcán, the area’s main artery. This road passes by the El Rey ruins, believed to be a king’s tomb.
