Clean and comfortable; very helpful staff.
This is a nice hotel: wonderful location, with views of the beach and ocean. Hotel needs an update--a bit old-fashioned, but again, the views and sound of the ocean somewhat make up for other shortcomings.

Initially, We had only booked 1 night at the Avenida hotel as we were due to stay elsewhere further away. Our plans changed and we stayed a further 2 nights. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and booked us in immediately. The rooms we stayed in were very clean and comfortable, with everything you would need in the bathroom, including hair dryer.
The food was fantastic. Best caldo we have tasted. We would deffinately return and recommend anyone to stay there.

We only stayed one night because we had an early flight out of Coruna the next morning. It was convenient for the airport, plus they packed us a picnic b/fast to take with us. We had a seaview room, no balconies though. The only critisism was the carpet was very old & stained in the room. But the staff were pleasant & spoke some English which was good. Convenient to walk to bars, restaurants & beach. Would recommend for short stays.

Easy to find and close-by parking. Gentle walk into town. Plenty of restaurants nearby as parador one was closed at the time of our visit. Café / bar was open though so we ate in there - well looked after.

The hotel and staff were very nice the room was clean the bed was a three quarter bed and it was impossible for us to sleep normally (the hotel was full of coach guest and it was late to try and explain in night clothes) so we had to sleep head to toe to give ourselves more room. Any couple overweight could not have managed to sleep!
My wife suspects that the hotel was full and in desperation the management slipped us into a single room because we were only staying one night.
