We had a very good stay after being on the road and many countries for more then one month. The Hampton by Hilton on Waterloo row is very well located and as many communication/ transportation systems close by.
Family and staff make this place a pleasant place to stay, quite at night but still many good restaurants to walk to and feeling safe while doing so. From here you could walk through all the Old London even to Buckingham Place, Piccadilly Square, Big Ben, Big Eye. Etc.

The Wellington Hotel, Waterloo Road, is absolutely outstanding if you want to stay in a place that is superbly situated, within easy walking distance of any venue in the West End; that has extremely helpful and friendly staff and which offers an extremely extensive and very enjoyable breakfast as part of the deal. I have absolutely no doubt I will be staying there again and again from now on and would recommend it most strongly.

Stayed 5 nights over Wimbledon's 2nd week. On a good bus route(s). Staff helpful making good reccomendations about where to go, how to get there and anything else we needed.
Room basic (bed just a bit soft) without tea making facilities but didn't really expect that for the price.
Very reasonable, would stay again.

The refurbishment was just being finished (signage going up as we left) so the hotel was like new. Very clean/comfy and staff were excellent. I asked for an ironing board and it was delivered within 5 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.
