"Apartment style hotel in Long Beach"
This hotel has a full kitchen, and lots of space to stretch out. I was pleased with the room, and the options for food close by. They are in the process of renovating some parts of the hotel, and when I first the work was a bit loud, but they were gone before dinner time.

"Nice location, safe area, close to everything!"
We decided on this hotel due to the location closest to our daughter, to whom we were moving. I was concerned when reading reviews on locations about the parking problems with several places, not knowing if our stuff would be safe if we had to put on the car carrier. We arrived very late in the evening and I was pleasantly surprised they had their own parking garage. The garage is for the hotel only and there is one entrance and exit and is very secure. Many people on other reviews complained about the fee, but for safety and security, I feel it was well worth it. Most other hotels I looked at only had parking lots and they were first come first serve or park on the street. We used the valet service which is $23 a day or you can choose to park yourself at $18 dollars a day. The valet service was wonderful! Check in was a breeze and the staff was awesome and very helpful. They gave us maps for the area and the valet took us to the room and unloaded everything. This hotel is an older one that has been remodeled very nicely. We had two queen beds that were so comfortable! Love the mattresses! Plenty of towels was a nice surprise, usually there are never enough. Very clean and inviting! We were on the eighth floor, it overlooked the parking garage, so the view wasn't much, but it was ok since we weren't their for the view anyway. No noise, very quiet. Even with the doors being older and noisy, we never heard any other rooms opening and closing theirs. It was a very good area!

Long Beach, with its immense port, is a hub for commerce and leisure on the Pacific. Freighter ships haul imported goods, pleasure cruises depart for Catalina Island, and the Queen Mary, the storied trans-Atlantic liner, is moored in the city’s bay. The Aquarium of the Pacific is nearby. At night, downtown’s Pine Avenue strip and Belmont Shore’s Second Street are prime entertainment spots.
