"1st time trip to USA for wedding anniversary"
I don't normally write reviews, but am one of those people that spend ages searching for hotels by reading reviews and no matter if they have 20 good reviews and 1 bad review ,I always worry and think about that one bad review
Having just come back from 3 nights at The Hampton ,Chelsea I felt compelled to write a review for anyone in two minds about just what to expect from this hotel.
This was my first time in USA and I was welcomed by Lucy with a smile and all the help I needed ,information ,maps ,attractions were all provided.
Maybe this was a particularly helpful member of staff and not the norm? well this was exactly the norm, all the staff were nothing less than friendly, professional and welcoming, Charmain, Diane ,the kitchen guys and everyone else ensured nothing less and it was the best & friendliest customer service I have EVER experienced when travelling.
So what about the hotel itself?
Well, it was perfect for what I needed, free wifi which was perfectly acceptable and I had no problems with, 24 hour tea and coffee which was great, breakfast was perfect for our needs, toast, with choice of preserves, bagels, yoghurts, a different small selection of hot food each day, bacon, scrambled eggs etc, fruit, everything we needed really.
We had a Queen city view and it was more than adequate size
It also could not be more perfectly situated for exploring Manhattan, we walked in the mornings and it is a nice 10 minute walk into Times Sq
I would definitely stay here again.
