A populous, mainly residential area, the Mokotow district sits on the left bank of the Vistula River, south of Warsaw's city center. Home to the National Library of Poland, Mokotow also contains embassies and several of Warsaw's universities. The area's abundant parkland attracts recreation-seekers from across Warsaw, and the Sadyba Best Mall draws visitors with an IMAX theater and bowling alley.
