I am a huge fan of Homewood properties. This is the cutest Homewood ever. Very contemporary design; wonderful size room for NYC. The location is central for those using public transit (Penn Station is close) and those exploring tourist attractions. Plenty of affordable eating places nearby. My only complain is that the breakfast here was chaotic! That said, even if food was hard to get to, people watching was great. Quiet rooms, fairly comfy beds, great exercise room (how often do you hear that about a hotel gym?). I recommend enthusiastically.

This hotel is in a great location! Each morning, we had a FREE Hot Breakfast! We bought our Show Tickets, Double Decker Bus Tickets, Cruise Line Tickets all here at the hotel! Everyone was so friendly, and went beyond to help us in anyway that we needed! Staff was very friendly and gave great suggestions and tips for being in The Big Apple. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this property was. I spend months every year in hotels and this had to be among the top experience overall that I had this year. In particular, was the staff. Each of them were happy, positive, friendly, thoughtful, and welcoming. Whatever you're doing there, please keep it up and teach the rest of the world!

The room was small with a king bed, but comfortable because it if very close to manhattan chinatown. There was no fridge or microwave, so it limits the room to overnight stay only. That didn't present a problem because that was the purpose of our stay. The breakfast was very good, and there were fruits in the lobby if you had a night time craving.

I have never written a trip advisor review before but after staying in hotel felt I had to. Saw hotel originally on trip advisor and have to say wasn't dissappointed. Lovely hotel in a central location a few minutes walk from Grand Central Station. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and even booked taxi to take us back to the airport. At bottom of road there was a Subway, pizza shop and Chinese which you could take back to hotel and eat in their dining area. Coffee available 24/7 again in dining area. As it was our first visit to NYC I was anxious about choosing an area to stay in and would definitely recommend this hotel. Will stay in when we come back to NY.
