"Very nice small hotel in Soho/Little Italy/Chinato"
A very nice small hotel on Grand St near the intersection of Soho, Chinatown, and Little Italy. The 6 line is nearby and it is an easy walk to the village and many restaurants. The facilities are good and the staff is super.

I loved Chelsea! Not having been to New York before I was unsure as to where to stay. I didn't want a lot of noise or be in a heavily-touristy area. Chelsea was perfect. The hotel is nestled in with where real New Yorkers live and play. Along 8th Avenue you'll find lots of different shops and sights and is quick and easy to get to Times Square and other places. The hotel was great. I had a single room and enough space for the time that I actually spent there. The bed was so comfy and the sheets clean and soft. The bathroom was well equipped and airy. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip :-)

I came to NYC to catch the Eagles-Giants game and needed a room for the night. After being on "hotel watch" for three days, I locked in on a room on the Expedia Mobile App (with a $25 off coupon). I have stayed in NYC at other hotels, and this room like all the other ones served its purpose. It was small, clean, and comfortable and provided all the things I was looking for (place to drop my stuff off, bathroom, shower, bed). I didn't spend much time in the room as I was out and about in the city, but I would definitely stay here again. No complaints whatsoever!

Beautiful hotel with the most amazing staff! GREAT LOCATION, staff are just so helpful and so nice from the concierge to the maintenance man and the cleaners, they are all just love,y and friendly. Anthony on the concierge desk was the best member of staff in any hotel we had stayed at and we have been travelling for 8 weeks,he was always so helpful and always attentive - we absolutely ADORED him!

I stayed at the De Point 4 days. This is a fine hotel: the room had everything I needed, including free internet. The Asian buffet that is in this hotel is one of the best for the most reasonable prices that I have experienced. The only down side is that there isn't much of interest in the city outside the hotel, and it is a costly taxi ride into Manhattan. But the shuttle from La Guardia is free and efficient. So I will certainly go back there next time.

From day one this hotel exceeded our expectations. We arrived at 10am and were able to check in early. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It rained while we were there so they gave us umbrellas to use. They informed us of places to go. The room was cleaned daily, so we always came back to made beds, which I love. The beds were a bit hard which I didn't mind but my husband did, still he really liked the hotel. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. The subway was also very close, so we could get anywhere very quickly. This was a truly great hotel and if I ever go back to New York, I would stay here.

I had a wonderful stay at the Sleep Inn the third week in September. The area seems a little shady in the night but in the day it is very lively. I found the hotel staff in the day and the night very helpful and accomodating to all of my needs. My room was just as seen on the website. It was very clean and bathroom was too. The bed is amazingly comfortable. The breakfast is good as well, and the attendants there really meet your needs. The only advice I would give is to ask for a room on the second floor and up. The noise on street level can be disruptive to your sleep after a busy day in the city.
All in all, great hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.
