"Comfortable hotel with great ocean views"
The Onna Marineview Hotel is an quaint hotel with an excellent staff. Our Japanese style hotel room was clean and comfortable. The room had a wonderful ocean view with a beautiful balcony and seating area. The restaurant at the Onna Marineview hotel is excellent, if you enjoy Japanese food: which we thoroughly enjoy. The restaurant staff is friendly and very helpful. The front desk staff was very efficient and acted on all requests quickly and in a very professional manner. Overall our experience was pleasantly memorable.

"Old, but well maintained with wonderful beach"
It looks like a hotel from 70s built for American customers. There's obviously some conflicts of cultures, like giant rooms with 2 toilets, but the bathroom is made of typical Japanese plastic components... covered by tiles like in Europe or US. And there were no big rooms with breakfast and double bed. It is normal to use separate beds in Japan, maybe, but it was strange and inconvenient for me. The beach is small, but beautiful. Unlike most beaches of silicon dioxide sand, this one is of ground coral (calcium). It is so different of anything I experienced before. The water is clean like a teardrop and plays with beautiful colors in the morning and during the sunset. The leisure facilities, however, are bad maintained. I mean rigorous, but inadequate management. Birds are singing everywhere, a lot of flowerpots. But when you go to the hotel beach you have to pay twenty usd for the hotel own sunbeds. It's kind of.. not fair. And you have to go "somewhere" to use your card. Water sports are organized wonderful, but that's all. No one plays volleyball. No bar at the beach (there is a bar house occupied by beach watchers for some reason). Ping-pong and billiard are moved somewhere to the back, almost under the rain - it is obvious no one would play them that way. I would expect a beer bar with billiard, but no. There are at least 3 restaurants (all are buffet breakfast type), but a bit overpriced with only two similar menus by odd and even dates. The bar is good, with music
